The Journey That Inspired Crown Blue Collective

My first passport was not a booklet but a way of life. I was born into movement—the youngest of three with a mother from the small island of Tutuila, American Samoa, and a father from the Lowcountry of South Carolina whose career in the U.S. Army carried us across borders. Between them, I inherited two legacies: the quiet strength of island life and the global reach of Southern living expanded through military service. Both carried the weight of family, duty, and vision, and together they taught me that travel isn’t just about distance—it’s about possibility and legacy.

That foundation shaped how I see the world. For me, travel is more than a vacation. It’s an extension of my identity. It’s the joy of belonging everywhere and the freedom to choose when to rest, when to celebrate, and when to reconnect—with family on their own journeys, with friends chasing joy and elevation, or with myself when I need to step away and envision what’s next. Each journey becomes both a reward and a continuation of the legacy I carry.

I’ve learned to travel with intention. I immerse myself fully—through local fashion, through meals layered with memory and tradition, and through the small details and customs that reveal how people really live. I love the adventure of it all: the viral hotspots we’ve all seen online, yes, but also the hidden cafés, tucked-away boutiques, and corners only locals mention once trust is earned. My friends joke that I “gatekeep” fashion finds and culinary delights—and maybe that’s true—but what I value most is curating experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and alive.

Crown Blue Collective (CBC) was born out of that spirit. CBC is my way of honoring legacy while creating new ones—sharing a world where luxury isn’t about excess, it’s about presence. It’s about stepping into places and moments that reflect who you are and who you’re becoming. It’s about having the details handled so you can focus on connection, inspiration, and joy.

For me, travel will always be inheritance, aspiration, and legacy—the roots that ground me, the wings that carry me forward, and the stories that give meaning across generations. CBC is the bridge that holds them together.

Crown Blue Collective™ is my way of honoring the legacies I carry—while curating new ones for those ready to travel with intention.
